Hi.
Having a two week window free in my calendar with no weddings booked I’m currently on vacation over in Samos, a lovely Greek island in the Aegean Sea just a few miles off of the coast of Turkey.
Samos is the birthplace of Pythagoras, the mathematician (remember the Pythagoras Theorem from school?), scholar etc….
The weather has been fantastic and having hired a little Suzuki most of the island has now been explored, although I must admit that the very narrow mountain roads with sheer drops to the ground have put my uneasiness of heights to the test.
With the sun rising very early I have to confess that any plans that I had to get photographs of the sun rising have been permanently put on hold, after all this is meant to be a holiday.
As it is a holiday all my professional camera equipment has been safely stored away and instead I packed a Canon G12, which I recently bought and I have to say is a fantastic little camera and I’m really pleased with it.
To give you an idea of some of the places I visited so far please check out the photographs below.

Ah, the cocktails arrive… gotta dash.
Jeff
